         Teacher's Day is a special day for every student.  On this day we express our feelings of respect and work of our teachers.  Teachers are not only imparters of knowledge but also guides, inspirers and architects of their lives.

   Teacher's Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.  Dr.  Radhakrishnan was a great educationist, philosopher, and former President of India.  He has made invaluable contribution in the field of education.  In his honor, September 5 is known as Teacher's Day.

 A teacher is a very important person in our life.  They root our trees of knowledge, guide our thoughts, and always strive to lead us on the right path.  It is only because of teachers that we can become better citizens.  Their guidance makes our future bright.

 Teacher's Day is a special day to honor teachers, but actually every day is a reminder of their contribution.  Let us all thank our teachers and salute their work of education.
